How to Boost Your Affiliate Marketing Business Using PPC
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
How to Boost Your Affiliate Marketing Business Using PPC PPC stands for Pay Per Click and, as reported in Forbes magazine, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year. This has a good chance of increasing to about 8 billion dollars by 2008. PPC is one of four types of search engines and a very cost effective way of targeting internet advertising. If you want to know how PPC works and what the advantages are, read on.
How does a PPC search engine work?
A PPC search engine makes listings and ranks them based on how much a website owner is happy to pay for every potential click. Advertisers are in competition with each other to beat each other's ranking and move closer to the top of the search engine page. They use specific phrases or keywords. The advertiser who is willing to pay the most will have his site ranked number one in the PPC search engines, then the second highest, third highest and so on. The lowest bidder appears at the bottom
How do you make money incorporating PPC into your affiliate marketing strategy?
Nearly all affiliate programs pay when a lead is delivered or a sale is made, as long as the visitor has clicked through your site to get there. Your earnings depend on the traffic market and the web site content.
Using PPC in your affiliate marketing program means that earnings should come more easily. You are advertising your program to an audience who are sufficiently interested to have entered the right keyword or keyword phrase and the more you spend on PPC, the more potential visitors you can attract. Using PPC means that unlike with some programs, your earnings do not depend on each sale from your site. The clickthroughs are what is important. This is basically how PPC and affiliate programs work.
If you incorporate PPC search engines into your affiliate program, you can earn from visitors who do not have any interest in the services or products you offer, the ones who never come to your site again. You can earn commissions from people browsing the web and finding what they were after, whilst building your site to be recognized as a valuable resource. If a visitor finds what they need using your site, they are likely to bookmark it or at least return in the future.
If you are using an affiliate program like this, you can earn more revenues. For instance, if a visitor to your site searches the PPC search engine and clicks on an advertiser's listing, the advertiser's account will be deducted. Because of that, you will get between 30 and 80 percent compensation of their bid amount.
PPC can also help you to promote your own site. A lot of affiliate programs allow you to spend your commissions on advertising without having to earn a minimum first. This works out to be a great way of exchanging your visitors for targeted browsers, the kind who are much more likely to purchase your goods.
What happens when you integrate PPC into your affiliate program?
It is usual for PCP to have affiliate tools which are ready to be integrated into your website. Search boxes, text links, 404 error pages and banners are examples of these tools. Many search engines use custom solutions and will offer you assistance should you require it or a white label affiliate program which will allow you to integrate remotely hosted and co-branded search engines into your website. You can do this simply by using a few lines of code. The benefits of this are not only do you get your earnings but you can earn extra revenue too. If you can refer some webmasters to the engine, you are looking at a lifetime of commissions. Knowing some of the more useful tools for use within your program are the key to skyrocketing your earnings. It is a great idea to study PPC search engines since they are growing in popularity and there is a lot of commission to be made.

Convenient because you don't have to go through the rigmarole of creating your own products. You simply place a Google Ad which directs readers to the website you are representing. But which company? Choosing an affiliate company to promote deserves serious consideration. Here are some tips: 1. Join for free. Associate with a company that doesn't charge a monthly fee. 2. Don't waste time with low commission programs. Your time is valuable. As an affiliate, it's just as easy to earn $20 as it is to earn $1 3. Study the company's web site. Does it Look professional? Does it do a good job of convincing people to buy? A good site with a great sales pitch or letter will make money For you. 4. The best sites: 1) offer a moneyback guarantee 2) have testimonials from satisfied customers 3) accept online payments 4) offersecure online ordering. 5. Choose companies that pay every few weeks (vs those that make you wait 2-3 months) 6. Do you simply want to make money with affiliate programs of any kind , or do you want to go with a product or service related to your personal interests? A combination of the two is ideal. 7. Company statistics (tracking your sales) should be in real time and available 24/7 8. Set up should be easy. For some programs, you can take up to an hour just trying to figure out how to sign up. Not worth the hassle. 9. To make money with affiliate programs on a long term basis, look for companies that offer lifetime commissions. When a customer you referred buys again, you get paid. 10. Do a Google search and find out what other affiliates think about the company. Type in the company name and study the reviews. 11. Preferably the company you join offers products or services people need and use. 12. Go with what is popular. What is popular offline will be popular online, like golf, weight loss, etc. 13. Join the 2 biggest affiliate networks: the best way I know to make money online with affiliate programs is by joining Clickbank and Commission Junction. By signing up once with either of these, you have access to thousands of programs. Clickbank offers digital products, downloadable in minutes. Some other Clickbank advantages are: 1) high commissions, up to 75% of product's value 2) real time stats, 24/7 3) sends checks every 2 weeks. Companies to avoid: 1) get-paid-to-surf programs 2) programs that offer guaranteed Traffic 3) send-cash-in-the-mail programs 4) gifting programs 5) chain letters. 17. Be willing to be offbeat. Starting an Online Business can often mean a monetary investment. In addition to this, it can often take some time to start seeing any income. While this is the nature of the business, some people want to start seeing an immediate return on there investment. While there are no guarantees in any type of business, I can suggest a system that may bring you a faster return on your investment. This system is called Clickbank. You can set up a Clickbank account at clickbank.com for a minimal investment. A one-time setup fee of $49.95 is required to get started. After that, you are a life time member and there will never be another charge. Once you are a member, you can buy products, sell products, promote products, and promote Clickbank. All of these services offer great value but are beyond the scope of this article. I wish to talk about only one service. That is promoting products as an affiliate. One way to make a fast return on your investment is to use Clickbank to promote other sites products. You can go to marketplace.clickbank.net (no www)and see a list of over 10,000 products that you can promote. The products are arranged by popularity and you can choose as many products as you like. Depending on what product you choose, you will earn a commission ranging from 1% up to 75% for each sale made. The process of choosing a product to promote is easy. On the top line of each product description will be a link for the website selling the product. You can click on the link to take a detailed look at what the site is offering. Next to this link is the percentage that you can earn for this product. Click on this percentage and a new window will pop up. You will then need to enter your Clickbank nickname. After entering your nickname, you will have a referral link that you can use in emails and online ads. You will also get a hoplink code that you can enter into your own website. After choosing the product(s) you wish to promote, it's simply a matter of generating traffic to the site you are promoting. Some ideas for doing this would be: 1. Paste the hoplink to your own website. 2. Send the referral link to a list of email subscribers. 3. Post the referral link at your blog. 4. Use online advertising to promote the product. 5. Set up an ad in Google Adwords. Google Adwords in a quick way of promoting your ad to a lot of people over a short period of time. I do want so say that you need to be very careful about using this system. It has generated a lot of sales to people that understand how to use it. And it has cost some beginners a lot of money because they didn't understand what they were doing. If you wish to try the Google Adwords approach, I would suggest that you consider a great e-book from Perry Marshal called 'The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords'. You can find it here. perrymarshall.com/google/ In closing, it is very important that you do some research before blindly picking any product to promote. The advantages of using Clickbank are that you don't have to stock any inventory, do any customer service, or process any payments. This can also be a disadvantage because after you send a visitor to the site of the product you are promoting, you are out of the picture. You must make sure that you are promoting solid products with a proven track record. If you choose a product that doesn't sell, you will end up with nothing regardless of how many visitors you send to the website. Rick Churchill is a successful Internet Marketer. Is A Residual Affiliate Program Really Worth The Wait?
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
When joining affiliate programs people often overlook the long term benefits and choose to ignore residual affiliate programs. The main reason for this is the cost benefits you receive from joining a one-time commission affiliate program. There are a number of reasons why people should at least consider looking into a residual program. When joining a one-time commission affiliate program you will find that the company pays between 20-70% commissions on sales. You ask why anyone would even consider joining a residual program, where the payout consists of between 10-25% commissions on sales. Obviously when you think of business you look at the higher number and assume that it's the better deal. However, in the long run it is much more beneficial to take the lower commission rate. The reason being is that with a one-time commission affiliate program you are only making the 20-70% of the sell at the time of purchase. This means if the customer purchases a product that has a monthly fee, you make nothing off of it after the initial purchase. As they purchase a web hosting account, for example, the initial $100 start up fee is great for you. Every time the customer pays $15 a month after that, you make nothing. Now, with a residual affiliate program you are going to make a measly $15 at the time of purchase. However, if the customer keeps the web hosting for one year you've racked up $180. What this means is in the long run you are going to make more money than you would with the one-time commission offer, but you have to be patient. Promoting a residual program allows you to receive an affiliate check monthly. The $15 for one customer doesn't sound like a lot, but if you can get five or ten customers paying the same thing you are up to $75-$150 a month. Residual affiliate programs are certainly not for everyone, but they do deserve a look at least. The only risk with a residual plan is the chance that the customer may back out before you equal what the one-time commission affiliate program would have paid. Apart from that, it is apparent that in the long run you can build up more money and receive payments on a monthly basis from a residual affiliate program. You are the one that needs to make the choice that is going to work better for you. Working hard for a one time commission or to getting paid over and over from your effort. Tools To Start Your Affiliate Program
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
When you want to take control and are thinking of starting your own affiliate program, there are certain things you will need to offer. You need to make it easy for affiliates to get on board and get started right away. To do this, you will need to offer them certain things to work with. You should immediately tell them everything they need to know in the first email you send to them. You don’t have to go into great detail about it but you can touch on certain things and give more detail on your site. Take a look at some of the tools you can offer affiliates to keep them interested and functioning. Advertisements If you want your own affiliate program to work you need ads that are effective. You should make sure they are effective before you start handing them out to affiliates. You don’t have to offer a ton of ads to affiliates at first. Start with a few and change them as you need to. You can choose to allow affiliates to write ads as well for a better result but insist on reviewing them before they are submitted. Remember, if your ads are no good, there is no point in having an affiliate program in the first place. Graphics You really need to make your available graphics easier than ever for your affiliates to use. If you try to get complicated, they will not be effective. Set up your website so all the affiliate has to do is cut and past the html code into their own webpage editor. When you do this, they will be more likely to use your graphics effectively and often. In addition, you need to be sure to display a small set of instructions for those who do not know what they are doing. Content One thing you should not forget when you want to start your own affiliate program is content. You should offer your affiliates content they can use. They can paste the article onto their site and get more traffic. In addition, you can encourage them to write their own content as well and you can update them regularly. The more updates they make to their content, the more people they will draw in and the more money everyone will make overall. As you can see, as long as you offer simple and helpful tools to affiliates, you can think about starting your own affiliate program with less problems. Try having everything set up before you start signing up affiliates . When you have everything already planned out, you won’t get as frazzled with the process. In fact, it should be a very fun and easy process overall. Starting your own affiliate program is beneficial to you and to your affiliates. When the program is effective for everyone, you will be a huge success. James M. Lowe writes wholesale Original articles, press releases, blogs, websites and e-books. Three Easy Ways for Newbies to Get Started in Affiliate Marketing
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
Affiliate marketing is a term used to describe an advertising agreement between a website owner, a.k.a. an affiliate, and a merchant. A strategic affiliate marketing agreement can be a very profitable online venture for both parties. The affiliate earns a commission for generating leads, clicks, and/or sales for the merchants website, and the merchant enjoys a healthy profit without having to do a great deal of work. As you can imagine, strategic affiliate marketing is a win-win situation. Merchants get to advertise their products for free in different markets, which inevitably increases sales. The more affiliates merchants have, the better their chances of making money. This is because they can cover a larger piece of the market and do not have to rely on their website alone. Instead, they can use the websites that belong to everyone who is part of their strategic affiliate marketing program. Affiliates also benefit because they can begin a business for free. Most affiliate marketing programs cost nothing to join, but for each purchase that is made, the affiliate makes a commission. In some cases, the commission is a flat rate, and in others, it is a percentage of the sale. The best part is that no previous experience is required. Almost anyone can be an affiliate marketer. To become an affiliate, you must have a website that can be used to display links to merchant websites. Though the website can be simple, it should look professional. The better your website looks, the more comfortable people will feel when clicking links and taking your recommendations to purchase products from a merchant's website. You can create almost any type of website you want. However, your web content should have something to do with the merchant's site for strategic affiliate marketing to work well. For example, you wouldn't want to advertise resume writing services on a website devoted to pet care. It simply wouldn't make sense. If you are an affiliate marketing newbie interested in entering the business of strategic affiliate marketing, here are three simple steps to help get you started. Step One The first step in developing a strategic affiliate marketing campaign is to find a niche. Niche markets provide a product or service for a specific group of customers who have very specific needs. Niches are preferable to big markets because there is less competition. Your best bet will be to find a niche subject that you are interested in or passionate about. Having a fair bit of knowledge on the subject won't hurt either. Step Two The second step to getting started in affiliate marketing, and possibly the most important one, involves finding merchants whose products you would like to promote. You will want to find high-paying merchants and high converting products. Before making a final decision, you will also want to consider the merchant's stance on strategic affiliate marketing. For example, do they offer affiliate support? What about marketing materials? The more support offered, the better. Support often translates into easy sales. Keep in mind, you will also want to find affiliate marketing programs that relate to your site in some way, shape, or form. Step Three The final step to developing a strategic affiliate marketing campaign is promotion. For some, this is the hardest part. However, if done correctly, it is possible to earn large sums of money in the affiliate marketing business. To learn the best ways to promote your website, you must do your research and be willing to take chances on one or two marketing methods. Read everything you can on strategic affiliate marketing, advertising techniques, and website promotion. Knowledge is the key to unlocking your success as an affiliate marketer. Enjoy Multiple Income Streams From Affiliate Partner Program
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
There are some extremely successful affiliate partner programs online, which, as a matter of facts, are the home of several independent affiliate programs. The idea is that the home business owner will have to learn only one instead of, let’s say, five. And to spend promotional money only once. Brilliant. To learn to run an online business is the toughest job in online marketing, that is my experience. When you can, it is easy to earn income. But if an affiliate have to learn five training lessons and run five sets of promotions, it will make him crazy and take all of his money. I think no-one would like to do that. To promote multiple income streams at the same time with one program, has many advantages. Maybe the biggest is to earn income from many income streams. The strategy will allow to promote more heavily and earn income more economically, because by promoting only one affiliate program, the costs will be divided among several programs. From a business point of view, it is wiser. Why? Because the program can invest more for everything, for instance for discussion forum. When it will have multiple times the amount of affiliates, the community will be more effective in helping each other and will earn income more aggressively. It will be stronger. To be able to earn income online, an affiliate needs strong, professional and rapid support from discussion forum. I have personally got a lot of free ebooks, promotion examples and valuable tips from my site´s forum. And even better, they have come rapidly. I see it irrational to run only one separate affiliate partner program and try to earn income. Why anyone should do so? Some rich man told that if you want to survive, you must go to a job but if you want to make money you must hire people to do the jobs. It is important to understand that the content of the multiple income stream affiliate partner program consists of those separate programs. That means from a site visitor´s point of view that the selection of programs and related services is wide enough and the possibility that a visitor will buy something is huge. It is customer service. When an affiliate considers to pick a program, one thing is the most important. That is the Training Lesson. It must be encouraging, helpful and step by step guide to results. It is also helpful if the training is divided into daily parts, which are not too heavy. Training Lesson is the mother of all learning in trying to earn income. When it is a good one, a new affiliate will read like crazy and is eager to try promotions even too rapidly. And think about it, with doing the work only once. The recommended tools must be reasonable, easy to learn and not too pricy. An affiliate´s budget, especially in the start, is normally very modest, so he’ll need more guidance than expensive software. When the affiliate program has a discussion forum, it is easy to go to there and ask advice for a special problems. And the good answers are quarantined. If an affiliate will think that he should do all this for all those five programs, I’m sure he’ll skip the whole issue. I highly recommend to pick the multiple income stream program and to start to earn income from many streams. It is so nice. Juhani Tontti is a full-time internet marketer. Affiliate Is Not A Dirty Word
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
When I first started out on my journey to become a successful Internet marketer I used to wonder about all the advertisements I came across that begged me to join an affiliate program. They made huge claims about how much money I would earn if I joined them so I just ignored them. That is until I started to understand more about affiliates and affiliate programs. WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE? An affiliate is someone who promotes other people’s products or services. When you become an affiliate you have a money making business opportunity but you have none of the worries or expenses of a typical business. You’ll never have the bother of dealing with processing or shipping an order or be involved with customer care. You will however receive money for your promotional efforts. When someone purchases a product or service through your efforts you receive a commission on the sale. All you have to do is promote and wait to receive your payment cheques. WHERE DO I FIND AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM? There are literally thousands of affiliate programs to choose from. Many of them will tell you that you will earn thousands and thousands of dollars per month if you join them. They will state all the amazing benefits to you and how new and fabulous their particular product or service is. I’m sure you have seen these advertisements everywhere on the Internet. If you type in affiliate programs into your search engine you will see what I mean. You will also just come across them as you are surfing. It can be quite over whelming to make a choice. HOW DO I DECIDE WHICH AFFILIATE PROGRAM IS FOR ME? There are three approaches to choosing the right program for you. Choose something that has a high demand Choose something that you have a passion for Combine the above two points so you will have a product that is in high demand and you are passionate about it. I personally think a combination of these approaches is the best. If you choose something that is in high demand then there will be a market for the product or service. It is essential to have a market otherwise you will find that no one will be interested in buying from you. The down side here however is when there is a high demand there is also a lot of competition. If you choose something you are passionate about then you’ll have more fun and you’ll be more passionate about what you are promoting. When you have something you can put your heart and soul into you will generally do better than if you are promoting something you don’t care about or know nothing about. Make a list of what you are passionate about. Then do a search on the key words to see how many other people have this same interest. You can do this by using a key-word search. www.goodkeywords.com offer free software you can download. Use this to search for the information. Just type in the key word and see how many results come up, i.e. how many people searched for those word over the last month. Then use your search engine to locate your affiliate program. For example my personal primary interests evolve around living a better life. This means I am interested in health, wealth, developing better relationships and emotional and spiritual well being. Because I have these fundamental desires I searched for an affiliate program that helped me to attract more of these things into my life. You may decide to go with just one program. The ideal situation would be to find one program. Understand how it works then branch out to include a few more that connect to your primary interest. Once you’ve understood what’s involved in promoting your primary program it will be only a little more effort to hook up with other programs and start increasing your monthly cheques! You may also find that as you go along you will need to buy a few things for example, web hosting and domain names. You may then see the value of adding these services to your affiliate list too. For example once I found my primary program I realised I had to advertise in order to get customers. I also discovered that I really did need my own website even though I had acquired several free ones when I joined my affiliate program. So I learnt all about web hosts and domain names and website design. As I went along I picked up a few more affiliate programs. After much trial and error I came to develop an understanding of the concept of organic search engine optimisation. I loved the whole concept so I added this to my list of programs too. I have also developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for how Internet business works. HOW DO I MAKE AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM WORK FOR ME? The big thing is PROMOTION. You will need to promote your affiliate products or services. When you join an affiliate program you will usually be given one or more free websites and some links and banners. When someone clicks onto the links or banners and purchases the product or service you will receive a commission. This is how affiliate programs work. Regardless of which program you are involved in, advertising and promoting your links and banners will become your number one priority! If you are not prepared for this you will not be successful. It is that simple. There is no way around this. The best way to do this is by becoming educated in the right things to do. You have a choice of paying for advertising or not paying for advertising. A great place to start is with understanding how organic search engine optimisation works and how to get it to work for you. This method of advertising is time consuming to get set up if you do it manually but once your done it will provide you with an endless source of free targeted traffic to your website. There are soft-ware programs you can buy that will get you set up if your short on time. Unfortunately the truth is that 95% of Internet entrepreneurs make no money. There are lots of reasons for this. Some of the more serious and common reasons are that many people just don’t understand how to promote. Many still don’t even realise that they have to have their own websites. Many spend more money than they are comfortable with because they head down the road of paid advertising and they aren’t in a position to afford this. My best advise to you is that you enjoy your affiliate programs. Get your own website. Learn about organic search engine optimisation and spend your money wisely. How To Become A Super Affiliate
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
95% of all affiliates make $0 - $100 a year. I don't know about you, but in my books, this is not a living. Becoming a super affiliate and joining the 5% who ARE making their living online is not difficult. Follow these simple steps and you're on your way to joining the ranks of the super affiliates. 1. Mindset: Get in touch with your grey matter. Program your mind with positive, committed thoughts. If you believe it, you can achieve it. It sounds a bit like a sales seminar, but the bottom line is, if you don't believe you can make a living online, you won't. You have to be committed. Commit to yourself that you will develop an income online, no matter what it takes. Think of your business as a bacon and eggs breakfast. The chicken was involved, the pig was committed! 2. Viewpoint: This is your business. Once you've accomplished your first hurdle and committed yourself to making this work, you have to look at your business from the proper viewpoint. No rose coloured glasses here. This is your business. You are the CEO of your own marketing company. You can choose to offer your services to one or several companies. Bottom line, you are responsible for every action in your company. Every decision you make affects your income. 3. Learning Curve: Expect it. Becoming an affiliate is like going to college or university. You start at the beginning, learn the basics and build on what you learn. Take it step-by-step and you'll build a much stronger business. Think of it like becoming a doctor. One doesn't decide to become a doctor with the expectation of opening a successful practice one week from now. It takes time to learn the products or services you're marketing and it takes time to learn to run your business. 4. Budget: Time and money. Set a general budget for both. As a business owner, you'll use plenty of time developing and promoting your affiliate business. Budget as much time as you can each day and make sure you use your time wisely. Set up a budget for your monetary expenses too. You can run a business online with a shoestring budget; just don't expect a mammoth income in the beginning. The more you can invest in your business, the better. This doesn't mean that simply throwing money at your business will make it grow. Every dollar that goes out your door, needs to come back in and bring another dollar with it. 5. Goals: s/he shoots - s/he scores! Your goals will get you through the tough times. There'll be lots of days when you feel like quitting. If you make your goals tangible, you'll make it through the tough days. Money isn't a motivator, but what money can buy, is. Set your goals for a family vacation, a new car, boat, or home. It's much easier to get excited about a shiny red corvette in your driveway than $100,000 sitting in your bank account. Money is only numbers on a piece of paper or a computer screen, but it can bring you a luxurious lifestyle, and that's where the fun is. 6. Nuts and Bolts: Once you've got your house in order, with the proper mindset, you're looking at your business from a realistic viewpoint, you've got an open mind and you're ready to learn, you've set aside some time and money and you've got pictures of your dream house, car and vacation plastered on your wall, you're ready to go hunting. The next step is to find a business that interests you and offers an affiliate program with a reasonable commission. For information products, one of the most popular and profitable products online, you can and should expect a commission of 40% - 50% or more. Pick a product that interests you. Buy it and use it. Your business is based on your recommendations of a product or service. If you haven't used it, how can you recommend it? Running around in circles after the newest, hottest selling product of the day, only leaves you dizzy and broke. If you like astronomy, becoming an affiliate of a star chart company may be a good fit. Selling women's pantyhose may not. 7. Look before you leap: Finding a company to represent, as an affiliate is one thing, finding a company that respects its affiliates is another. Do a bit of research before you jump on the bandwagon. Send an email to the company as if you're a potential customer. 24-48 hours is a good response time. This shows that someone is actually running the company. It also gives you an idea of their commitment. Generally, the faster the response, the more committed the company is to doing business. The quality of the response is also important. Did the response answer your question? Was it written in a friendly, professional manor? Did they answer your question directly or simply send you to a FAQ sheet? 8. Flip the switch: If everything checks out up to this point, then your next step is to take action. Fill out the affiliate application form and get your affiliate URL. Now the ball is in your court. It's time to get down to brass tacks. If you freeze now, you make no money and flush your goals down the toilet. If you take action, you make it one step closer to your goals. 9. If you build it, they will come: OK not really, but you do have to build it. If you want to maximize your income and be taken seriously, you need to own a website. Just like a brick and mortar business, you need a professional location to offer your products. Yes, you get an affiliate URL when you sign up as an affiliate, but promoting an affiliate link looks amateur and will help you LOSE 98% of your sales. We'll cover this in point 10. 10. Follow-up = Sales: Only 2% of your prospects will sign up or buy what you're offering, on their first visit. 98% of your sales will be made from your follow up. There's a very simple method for following up and making sales automatically. i. Check your favourite search engine to locate a free ebook, software program or report that relates to your offer. If you're promoting a website that sells peanut butter, a free peanut butter recipe book would be a good match. Your give-away must always relate to the product you're promoting to maximize the results of this system. ii. Build a page on your website to give away your free peanut butter recipe book. Design the page as if you were designing a sales page. Make people's mouths water until they want the recipes so bad they'd gladly pay for them, but then give it to them free. All they have to do is fill in their name and email address in the simple form and you'll send their recipe book to them instantly via email. iii. As soon as your peanut butter prospect fills out the form on your site and clicks the send button, they are taken to your affiliate URL where they can buy peanut butter. At the same time, the peanut butter recipe book is sent to their email address. iv. Now your peanut butter prospect receives an email from you each week with new tips and useful peanut butter information. This information positions you as a peanut butter expert and gives you the opportunity to promote your peanut butter affiliate website once a week, to hot prospects. This is where you'll make 98% of your sales. Although this may seem like an overwhelming amount of work for the beginner, it's all very simple. The whole process is run from an autoresponder, a simple piece of email software that automatically sends your prewritten email messages on a predetermined schedule. Your success as an affiliate is determined by you. 95% of the people that read this simple guide will do nothing with it. 5% of the people that read this guide will put all the pieces in place and start making a living as an affiliate. All you have to decide is which side of the coin you want to be on. This mini report has been brought to you by Terry Telford at The Email Wealth Toolkit. A lot of people are getting involved in online business to help supplement their income or to find a way to get out of a dead-end job that they do not like doing. These are both very valid reasons for starting an online business. A good place to start an online business is by becoming an affiliate marketer because it is relatively quick and easy to start and requires very little, or no investment, in order to start making money online. With an online business you can contact just about anybody with an Internet connection which means you have an extremely wide marketing area at your convenience. By being an affiliate marketer you do not have to create your own products or services in order to get started making money online. The owners, or merchants as they are sometimes called, give you the rights to market their products for free in most cases. Affiliate marketing has become one of the most popular methods for making money online today because the products or services have already been created for you. All that is needed is to promote, or advertise them in order to make sells and earn sales commissions which are pre-determined by the owner of the product or service that you will be marketing. In a typical affiliate marketing set up the merchant provides his or her affiliates with the tools and resources required to sell his product or service. The affiliates use these resources, such as banners, graphics, or text advertising to post on their websites, or to put in blogs. They can also be sent out in emails to create sales of the product or service that they are promoting. The affiliate then gets a percentage of the total price of the product when a sale is made, which is usually 25% to 75% of the total price of the product. Signing up as an affiliate marketer is easy. Just find a company that offers an affiliate program for their product or service and fill in their online form with your personal details. Most affiliate programs are free to join and most offer valuable instructions to help you get started in selling their products. The merchant stands to gain from your success so it is to their benefit to help you succeed with your affiliate marketing business. You can also use an alternative method and join what is called an affiliate network. An affiliate network is a business that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for online merchants at one web site location. Most affiliate networks are free and easy to join and provide a full range of products for you to promote. Some of the most popular affiliate networks are: Commission Junction, Clickbank, Linkshare, Cash Engines, and VIP Profits. To find a whole list of popular affiliate networks just go and do a search on affiliate networks or go to the site listed here: http://www.webaffiliatesdirectory.com. Affiliate marketing is one of the most rewarding careers that anyone could have. Someone can literally start on a shoestring budget and work into a consistent and very decent salary within a relatively short period of time. Many people make thousands of dollars each month just selling products from the Clickbank network. Clickbank is actually a great place to start as an affiliate marketer because they have thousands of products to choose from to market and a very good support system in place. It is also very easy to sign up and join Clickbank. Here is their link: http://www.clickbank.com Becoming a successful affiliate will not be all that easy though because there is quite a lot of competition online. One of the best ways to become successful in affiliate marketing does require additional knowledge and effort and that you create a good content based website. You can have this created for you or you can do your own research and learn how to do it yourself. But, it is important to have a good content based web site that you can imbed links to the products you are marketing within the content on your site. The products you promote should be relevant to the content on your site which will take some initial planning and consideration. Using this approach you would be able to seed, or insert, several products that you are promoting into the content of your site and then just advertise that one web site. You can start off with just one site and then build another site and do this over and over again over time. Before long you will have created a multitude of sites that promote many different products or services and that are linked to one another, which creates your own network of inter-related sales sites. This could turn out to be extremely profitable for you over a period of time. If you plan you business properly you would probably want to promote products or services that offer two-tier affiliate marketing programs. With two-tier affiliate marketing programs you will not only get paid for your direct sales, but you will also be paid a percentage commission for the sales that your direct sales members make. This can be a very powerful and profitable plan for your business and it creates what is called "residual income." An important part of your business plan should include some residual income programs. These residual income programs will allow you to earn multiple commissions each month from just one sale instead of having to sale a multitude of different products over and over again. It is recommended by many of the most successful Internet marketers to concentrate about 75% of your efforts on residual income programs such as monthly subscription membership sites. These types of businesses will bring you monthly income automatically with just one sale as long as the buyer continues their active membership each month. Selling residual income products or services is by far a more beneficial method of earning affiliate commissions than focusing your efforts toward the tedious process selling individual products over and over again although, a combination of both approaches is advisable for the best marketing strategy.

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication. There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online. What are these three tactics? 1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more. Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing. You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more. 2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect. Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch. Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word ?free? because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services. 3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest. Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day. Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic. The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part. Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do. Is AdSense for every affiliate marketer?
This article was posted by noreply@blogger.com (Article Man) Author details may be found in the resource box at the end of the article
Yes, all those nay sayers ended up eating their own words in the end. And that is because the folks at Google never go and do something without assessing whether or not it will be profitable, or exactly how profitable it is. But of course, as you might very well know, AdSense isn't just profitable for Google. It's also profitable for the people who advertise via AdWords and very profitable for publishers who use it to make earnings which are sometimes just enormous. So one must ask himself why this is such a good deal for everybody. And the question in itself is very justified because you hardly ever come across something that's profitable for everyone in the chain. So why would AdSense be any different. Well, AdSense is where it stands today, giving benefits for everybody in the game because it exploits a gap in the Internet's advertising model. You see, the Internet is a very interactive environment, and its interactions come from the people who are browsing. They choose whether or not to follow a certain link and the term "navigating" is probably the most precise one at describing this situation. So AdSense is great because it links together buyers and sellers. Yes, you have to hand it out to Google for a brilliant idea. They know there are people out there that want to buy stuff and people who want to sell them what they're interested in. And Google AdSense helps members of the two categories find each other. It works for the visitors, because the model is very transparent. You don't see a huge graphic banner which tries to lure you into buying something. You just see a few words. And if you like what you see you can just click it. It works because visitors don't have that feeling of someone trying to lure them into spending money. Ironically, however, they're wrong. It works for the AdWords advertisers because their ads go everywhere. Not only will they find themselves listed in Google's search which gets gazillions of hits per day, up front without working as much for SEO and waiting so much. Their ads can reach any website that deals with anything similar to what they're trying to sell. Now you must realize they could never pull of such great advertising by themselves. And that brings us to the thing that makes Google's AdSense a publisher's best friend. It comes from the fact that the ads are contextual, that they somehow related to the keywords you deal with on your page. Because people or on your site, which deals with a certain topic, you already know they're interested in that topic. But, hey, wait a minute, Google knows some companies which want to sell your visitors something related to their topic. Google wants your visitors, you want Google's advertisers and the visitors just want to buy stuff. And that is the essence of what makes AdSense a great deal for everybody. This is by far the most profitable hook-up deal you're ever going to see anywhere on the Internet. So you have to appreciate Google for realizing a killer deal. You have to appreciate how well thought out, yet simple this scheme really is. Sure, in practice it has a few quirks but those are minor and, up to this point everyone seems to be enjoying Google's AdSense. You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates at www.AdsenseTemplates.com. They are offering 100 fresh new templates every month.

Affiliate marketing is a booming industry. As the internet expands, the opportunity for affiliate programs increase. Today, hundreds of thousands of people are logging into the internet each day. Each of these individuals is a potential customer -- and we're not even talking about the people who already use the internet on daily basis. Combine these two groups of people, and it is easy to see that the possibilities for affiliate programs are immense, but only if you approach the matter in a particular way. Making money with affiliate programs is not as easy as it seems. Many people entering into affiliate programs have certain misconceptions. Because of the outlandish promises that often made by those who offer them, making money with affiliate programs seems so simple that you wonder why not all affiliate marketers are rich. Before going any further, you must understand that getting involved in affiliate programs is not an effortless path to financial security. However, it can be a better way to achieve your financial goals, depending on your current circumstances. If you are dissatisfied with you job in one way or another, then you certainly should not overlook the opportunity that affiliate programs offer you. Here are two pointers that will help you make money with affiliate programs. Choose an affiliate program that you can sink your teeth on. By this, I mean that you should get started in an area that you naturally drawn to, a subject that you know and love. The reason for this is because the financial compensation you receive at the very beginning might not as much as you received in your previous occupation. Getting involved in an affiliate program is essentially like starting your own home business. You have to expect that the start-up stage will not be easy street. On the contrary, you will probably have to work long hours at the beginning, and perhaps pinch some pennies along the way. All these sacrifices might be too hard to make if you get involved in a business that you do not love. However, if you choose a business area that you are naturally inclined to and your work won't be work at all; it will be a labor of love. Profits will pour in, sooner or later, from a labor of love. Build a content site. A content site is a commonly utilized tool in affiliate marketing. A content site is simply a website that is designed and organized around a specialized theme. The site usually contains education materials and other tools that would be of use to its visitors. These materials and tools are themselves intricately related to the products and services that you hope to sell. You will want to provide concrete information about your goods, and try to persuade your visitors that your goods will be of benefit to them. With a good, well-organized website, making money with affiliate programs is considerably less difficult. Dan Hartshorn is the owner of DataProductReview.com.
